We are excited to announce that the Halifax YMCA Pantomime Society will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026 with a spectacular production of Jack and the Beanstalk! As one of Halifax’s longest-standing community theatre traditions, we would love to invite you to be part of this milestone event by becoming a sponsor.
Founded in 1950, with our very first performance in 1951, the Halifax YMCA Pantomime Society has proudly brought laughter, magic, and community spirit to generations of families. Our productions are entirely self-funded and run by volunteers, and all profits go directly back into supporting other valuable YMCA community initiatives—including our school uniform scheme for families in need.
The pantomime is more than just a show. It’s a platform where children, teens, and adults come together to build confidence, creativity, and friendships. It offers a safe and inclusive space for performers of all ages to thrive while delivering affordable family entertainment at a time when such experiences are increasingly out of reach for many. Our aim is simple: to ensure that every child can enjoy a magical theatre experience and that parents can treat their families to a fantastic show—without breaking the bank.
We’re currently seeking local businesses and supporters to help make our 75th year extra special.
Sponsorship Options:
Between £100 and £200 Sponsorship: Your company name or logo featured in our printed programme and promotional materials around the theatre during show week.
Over £200 Sponsorship: All the above, plus a complimentary family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) for a performance of your choice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night.
