By purchasing a ticket by telephone, in person over the counter, via the website (Ticket Source), you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation policy
Tickets for a specific date or period of performance cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable, please see our refund policy below.
Terms of Admittance
For the protection and comfort of all customers, The Halifax YMCA reserves the right to refuse admission or eject customers in reasonable circumstances such as rowdy, nuisance or violent behaviour.
For the safety of performers and to minimise disruption, latecomers may be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking their seats.
In exceptional circumstances we may provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket.
No audio or visual recording equipment is allowed. Any person found with these may be asked to leave the venue and the recorded material may be destroyed.
By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder consents to being shown as members of the audience in official filming, photography and sound recording, for instance if the performance is to appear on social media later. If you do not wish to be included in this media please inform the booking office before the show giving just seat numbers of those individuals that can not be shown.
The Halifax YMCA Staff and volunteers reserve the right to request patrons to stop any activity that is deemed inappropriate.
Only food and drink purchased at the venue may be consumed within the venue.
Booking Fee
A booking fee is charged when making ticket purchases online. The amount is show in the final price calculation before finalising your purchase. Purchases online are subject to our and Ticket source terms and conditions
Bulk tickets deals
The buy one get one free bulk ticket deals are available for registered groups, organisations, schools and charities. To qualify, the booking must be made through the box office. If tickets are purchased by any other method the discount will not apply.
Exchanging tickets
Tickets once purchased can be exchanged for other performances of the same show at the discretion of the box office. The exchange can only take place in person at the box office on Sat 10am-12noon. Proof of purchase must be shown. The request needs to be received 24hours before the performance is due to take place. Tickets will only be exchanged if there is available seating on the new date/time.
Ticket Refunds
We will only refund tickets if the performance has been cancelled or moved to another date than the one originally advertised. For tickets booked at the booking office contact 01422 353626. for bookings taken through Ticket Source refunds will be made back to the account used to purchase the tickets. Refunds include the booking fee less a £1.00 handling fee (per transaction). All sundry items will also be included; however, they will appear as a separate transaction on your statement. We regret that tickets cannot be refunded due to adverse weather conditions if the performance goes ahead. No refund on pre-booked tickets will be made on the announcement of a subsequent special offer. Please use the contact section of the ticket source website.
Lost or Destroyed Tickets
At the discretion of the box office, we will replace lost or destroyed tickets free of charge If suitable I.D. is provided to confirm information held on the booking system.
Data Protection
For your protection and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and the Data Protection Act 1998 , we only take your address in order that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation; authorise a credit / debit card transaction; mail out your tickets. Unless you authorise us to keep your data longer, we will delete your information from our records once the show has completed. In the event you authorise us to keep your data longer, so we may contact you by email about further events the YMCA offer, you can opt out anytime by clicking unsubscribe.
